Welcome to our mountain place!

We’ve stayed in SO MANY places during the 25 seasons we’ve driven out to Ellicottville from Cleveland. The Inn at Holiday Valley, of course. Trailers on impromptu weekends when everything else was booked. A dive hotel during New Year’s (never again). A friend’s condo at the Tamarack.  

Finally, we have a place of our own. We’re not property professionals here to make a buck. We’re a family who’s investing in an asset that gives back in the form of magical, memorable moments. And we’re happy to share it with you.

Ellicottvilla is our vision realized. Admittedly, it’s not quite a “villa” – there’s no Italian marble or sweeping terraces - but it’s intentionally outfitted to make you and your guests feel right at home in this charming mountain town.

This is our third season as owners, and we’re Superhosts on AirBnB! You can find us there or book directly through this website to save on fees.

 FAQs

  • We require 50% up front to reserve your dates. Your final payment will be auto-debited from your account seven days before your stay. Two days before your arrival, we’ll send you the address and code to the lock box.

    Please note that, because we don’t list or advertise this property, it may be tough for us to find a replacement for your stay if you cancel.

    Cancellation policy:

    Cancel 30+ days or more in advance: Full refund of deposit

    Cancel within 30 days of stay: No refund on deposit

  • Please plan to check in at 4:00pm and check out at 11:00am.

    We may be able to accommodate requests to come early or stay late, but it depends on the cleaning schedule. Please make your request as soon as possible and we’ll see what we can do.

  • We prefer you didn’t. We love dogs and cats, but sometimes they have this odd habit of marking their territory and that's not fair to us or the next guest.

  • Yes. Please note quiet hours are strictly enforced indoors and outdoors between 11:00pm & 8:00am. The home is monitored for elevated noise levels in respect of our neighbors. Guests who repeatedly disregard the noise curfew will be asked to leave the property with no refund.

    We realize this rule is not ideal for bachelor/bachelorette parties or other rowdy celebrations. If you think the noise curfew may be an issue based on your occasion or guest list, you should probably stay somewhere else so you’re not stressed about it.

  • Yes, but we draw the line at cigarettes and cigars. Seriously, we’ll charge you a hefty fee. Read your agreement carefully.

  • Babies are the best, aren’t they? Please plan to BYOBS (bring your own baby stuff). Due to limited storage, we don’t have room to keep a pack & play, highchair or baby gates. There’s plenty of space for baby to stay once you arrive with your own inventory.

  • Yes. If you'd like to stay a month or more, let's talk! Pricing will depend on the season and length of stay. Email us with "Seasonal Rental Inquiry" in the subject line.
